Country music star Kenny Chesney will be the celebrity guest picker when ESPN College GameDay airs from the Horsehoe at South Carolina this Saturday.
Chesney will perform a song off his new record, which was released on Tuesday, during the telecast.
Chesney and Spurrier are longtime friends. He co-produced the recent Steve Spurrier documentary “The Believer.”
Chesney is a longtime Tennessee fan. He was the celebrity picker once before when “GameDay” visited Knoxville.

It will be USC’s seventh time hosting the traveling college road show and the first since the 2012 season. Country music star Darius Rucker was the guest picker for that appearance.
The live three-hour show, which features Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard, will be aired nationally beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The game against Missouri on Saturday will kick off at 7 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN.
