South Carolina continues to lose returning players and signees to the professional ranks.
Junior right-hander Matt Price, the program's all-time leader in saves and appearances, has agreed to terms with the Baltimore Orioles, who drafted him in the seventh round last month. The slotted bonus for Price's spot in the draft was $149,300.
Shortstop Corey Seager of Concord, N.C., USC's top recruit in the 2012 class, also agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Dodgers, who selected him with the 18th overall pick in the first round. He will receive a reported bonus of $2.35 million, which is $400,000 over the amount slotted for that pick.
