South Carolina will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., to play No. 1 national seed North Carolina in an NCAA Super Regional this weekend.
USC (42-18) defeated Liberty on Monday to wins its regional, while UNC (55-9) came back early Tuesday morning to defeat Florida Atlantic to claim its regional title.
The Super Regional will start Friday with a 1 p.m. game to be televised on ESPN2. The second game will be played Saturday at 12 noon on ESPN. Sunday’s if-necessary game in the best-of-three series would be played at 1 p.m. on ESPN.
In Chapel Hill late Monday night and into Tuesday morning, the Tar Heels' Cody Stubbs singled with the bases loaded in the 13th inning to help No. 1 overall seed North Carolina avoid a huge upset by edging Florida Atlantic 12-11 in a wild regional championship game.

The game was delayed for two hours due to heavy rain and didn't wrap up until after 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Stubbs' hit scored Landon Lassiter from third to cap a game filled with momentum swings, sending the Tar Heels spilling onto the field in a mad dash to celebrate.
UNC took a 6-2 lead into the ninth inning, but gave up six runs — including a grand slam by Tyler Rocklein — to trail 8-6. But the Tar Heels tied it to send it to extras, but fell behind again by three in the 12th after the second-seeded Owls (42-22) got a three-run homer by Levi Meyer in the top of the inning.
The Tar Heels came back yet again, and then won it to advance to the Super Regional vs. South Carolina.
