USC makes a jump in Top 25, BCS standings

South Carolina rose six spots to No. 14 in The Associated Press Top 25 released on Sunday.

The Gamecocks (6-2, 4-2 SEC) beat No. 5 Missouri (7-1, 3-1) 27-24 in double overtime to stay fully within the SEC East race on Saturday, also attaining bowl eligibility. USC is in the polls for the 57th straight week.

South Carolina jumps from No. 21 to 14 in newest BCS standings. Also, the Gamecocks rose four spots to No. 16 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
