Brian Maddox is No. 1 on the South Carolina depth chart again this week, just not at tailback.
The senior tailback has been moved to fullback heading into the Gamecocks' game Saturday against Georgia. Maddox started the season opener at tailback. He had the game's first carry, and it was his only one for the game.
Head coach Steve Spurrier didn't make too much about the change.
"He and Marcus [Lattimore] were actually in there in the two-back setup," Spurrier said. "Patrick DiMarco is probably listed at tight end but he can play fullback also. So we've got players that can play a little at both positions."

DiMarco is listed atop the tight end depth chart.
Lattimore and Kenny Miles are listed as the options for first-string tailback.
Senior Dion LeCorn has moved from wide receiver to spur to provide depth at that position.
"Dion was third or fourth at wide receiver and some of those young guys had come on very well," Spurrier said. "He actually made the suggestion he wanted to try and play and help the team. So coach [Shane] Beamer's got him over there at the spur position. Hopefully he will really be committed to learning our defense and helping us play over there. We're a little thin at that position."
Spurrier said freshman quarterback Connor Shaw could see playing time in the first half Saturday, and cornerback Stephon Gilmore might take snaps in the WildCock formation.
