Marcus Lattimore says he's sure his ankle is only sprained and he expects to be back next week against Vanderbilt.
“I fell the wrong way and then the linebacker for Kentucky, he fell on it, too,” he said. “I just heard it crack, and I thought something really bad had happened, but it’s just a sprain.”
Lattimore predicted he would be back in the lineup in time for next week’s game against Vanderbilt, but Steve Spurrier said he “may be out a week or two.”
Lattimore walked to the postgame interview room without crutches and wearing flip-flops with no brace on his ankle.
