USC head coach Steve Spurrier has been in New York since Sunday for activities connected to the Heisman Trophy presentation.
He will spend most of Tuesday in the Northeast making home visits with four Gamecock targets in New Jersey.
Spurrier plans to visit with quarterback Tanner McEvoy, offensive lineman Josue Matias, defensive back Sheldon Royster and wide receiver Damiere Byrd, who is already committed to the Gamecocks.
McEvoy visited USC last weekend and will visit Michigan, North Carolina and Rutgers in January.

Matias has visited Wisconsin and North Carolina. He will take visits to Florida State, USC and Rutgers.
Royster has visited USC and Rutgers and has trips planned with Michigan and North Carolina.
Gamecock recruiter G.A. Mangus will join Spurrier on the visits.
Mangus spent Monday in Atlanta where he checked in on DB Marcquis Roberts and TE Rory Anderson. The teammates from Powder Springs will commit to USC publicly at some point
