Offensive lineman Kyle Harris (6-3 283) of Lindale, Ga., committed to USC Saturday night while on an unofficial visit for the Arkansas game.
"I just felt like that's where I need to be," Harris said. "It's a great place and I have a chance to get early playing time. I just like everything coach [Shawn] Elliott does with the line. He is a very good coach."
Harris is a former Georgia Tech commitment.
He also had offers from Clemson, Illinois, Louisville, Auburn, Purdue, Syracuse and Tennessee. Auburn and Tennesee also showed renewed interest after he reopened his recruiting.

Harris becomes the Gamecocks' sixth offensive line commitment and likely the last they will take at that position.
He's their 23rd commitment overall.
