South Pointe DE Jadeveon Clowney has not been including Clemson in his official visit plans to this point but that might change. His coach said Friday night that Clowney is now thinking about setting an official visit with the Tigers.
Coach Bobby Carroll said he's encouraging Clowney to take officials to both in state schools. Clowney has already taken his official visit to USC. Alabama, Miami, Florida State and Ohio State are the other schools Clowney has been considering for official visits.
Clowney will be at Clemson for the USC game and Carroll said the Clemson coaches really don't want him to use his official visit that weekend.
Carroll said Clowney will not be going to a game Saturday. His other major prospect, DE Gerald Dixon, plans to be at the Clemson-Wake Forest game Saturday along with several other members of his team.
