The departure of Clemson defensive end coach Chris Rumph to Alabama Tuesday has led to a change in plans for South Pointe defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.
Clowney was scheduled for an official visit to Clemson January 21st primarily due to his relationship with Rumph, but he's now cancelled that visit according to his coach.
Clowney, who has taken an official visit to USC, will make his official visit to Alabama January 14th where Rumph, no doubt, will be his primary recruiter. This weekend Clowney will be in New York for an ESPN photo shoot. He's undecided about a visit on the 28th with Florida, Florida State and Auburn under consideration.
His coach said last night he's not sure if Clowney will make a decision by Signing Day.
