There may be no need for a Wednesday announcement for tight end Jerell Adams of Scott's Branch.
According to his coach Leonard Johnson, he plans to meet with Adams on Monday at school, and Adams may very well give him a final decision between South Carolina and Clemson. Johnson did not talk with Adams over the weekend and added the decision may not be made until Tuesday.
Johnson said two things will happen once he gets the word from Adams:
1. Both schools will be contacted right away.
2. An announcement on the decision will be made.
Johnson said they will not sit on the decision until Wednesday when Adams will officially sign at his school around 10 a.m.
Clemson and USC are in a tight battle for Adams, who grew up favoring the Gamecocks but has seen the Tigers gain equal footing with them.
