WR Casey Gladney (6-2 183) of Columbia High is gaining interest from recruiters and now has offers from Kentucky and Cincinnati according to coach Kemper Amick.
Gladney will attend Clemson’s junior day Saturday and USC wants to see him in camp. He is also drawing interest from Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, Nebraska and Alabama.
Last season Gladney had 49 catches for 885 yards and 11 touchdowns and he scored 16 total touchdowns. “He’s a great leaper with good speed and good hands,” Amick said. “He can score from anywhere."
Amick also has LB Ky Tyler (6-2 215) to offer up to recruiters this season. Tyler plays quarterback and defensive end for the Caps but will be a linebacker in college. He was the region player of the year last season.
“He’s pretty talented,” the coach said. “He’s very physical and can play a lot of places.”
