DE Jarontay Jones (6-3 245) is part of a very talented Stephenson High School team in Stone Mountain, GA. Seven of his teammates hold multiple major offers, as he does.
Jones had planned to visit Clemson Saturday but had to stay home to take the SAT. He and some of his teammates will visit USC next Saturday according to Stephenson assistant coach Corey Johnson. And right now USC is one of Jones' top five along with Florida, Auburn, Georgia and Alabama according to Johnson.
Jones has visited Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia and Georgia Tech. He will also visit Vanderbilt before shutting it down for the spring.
As for Clemson, Johnson is not sure the Tigers will be a major factor at this point. "He hasn't had a chance to visit Clemson," Johnson said. "And they've told us they are signing a short class (numbers wise)."
USC has offered several of the Stephenson players and Johnson said a few of them would like to play together in college. He said Jones will make his decision later on in the year.
