Quarterback Brendan Nosovitch of Allentown, Pa., will visit South Carolina, Clemson and Georgia Tech in June, his father said Monday night.
"We're probably going to take a family trip to Clemson and Georgia Tech within the next two to three weeks," Gene Nosovitch said. "And we'll probably stop at South Carolina."
Nosovitch has previously visited USC and recruiter G.A. Mangus has been through his school this spring.
Nosovitch has offers from USC, Clemson, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Temple, Ohio, Army and others. His father is expecting more offers in the next couple of weeks.
Penn State is among the others showing interest, and reports have had Nosovitch waiting on a Nittany Lion offer before moving forward. His father said that's not the case.
"He's not waiting on Penn State to offer," he said. "Penn State is like everybody else out there. He's excited about his offers from South Carolina and Virginia, and he's still exploring Clemson and Georgia Tech. He's developed a good relationship with Coach Mangus. He really likes Coach Mangus."
Mr. Nosovitch added that Clemson quarterbacks coach Chad Morris is very interested in his son.
"Clemson does seem interested in him," he said. "They feel like he fits in with their system. But there's no doubt USC and Virginia are out front."
Nosovitch would like to make his decision before his senior season begins.
