A date, or an approximate date, has been set for Lexington WR Shaq Roland to make his college commitment, and, barring a late change of heart, Roland will be committing to USC.
“The order (of favorites) hasn’t changed,” said Lexington coach Scott Earley confirming the order remains USC, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
“We’re going to do it on July 29th, or right around there. We’re going to get everyone together and move on so he can enjoy his senior season. There ain’t going to be no hats or anything like that. We’re just going to make the announcement.”
Roland visited all four schools this summer. He’s also been tied up with AAU tournaments for most of the summer including one recently at USC.
