OL D.J. Humphries (6-6 275) of Charlotte has narrowed his list down to five schools. They are USC, Clemson, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn.
Humphries has not taken any visits this summer but is considering trips to Florida, Auburn and Tennessee. "Nothing is for sure right now," Humphries said. "I want to take some visits but I'm not sure where I will go."
Clemson was his first offer keeping the Tigers close to his heart. "It's a place I've always liked and it is close to home," he said. The Gamecocks are close to home as well and he maintains a good relationship with USC offensive line coach Shawn Elliott. He likes that USC plays in the SEC.
Humphries remains unclear as to where he will take his official visits and has no time frame as to when he will make a decision.
His offers include Clemson, USC, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Texas, West Virginia, LSU, Southern Cal, Kentucky, West Virginia and Wake Forest. He does not have a favorite.
