DB Brendan Langley (6-1 187) of Marietta, GA has offers from USC, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Vanderbilt with interest from Miami. He named USC, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Florida as his top five in no order.
He did, however, name Bama and Georgia as his top two. "Those are the only two schools I've visited so far," Langley said. He will visit Tennessee Saturday, Florida during spring break and plans to visit Columbia in the near future.
"I like South Carolina and the way they play," he said. "It's definitely DB University with all of the players they have in the league. I like that they play six DBs and that would increase my chances to play."
Most teams are recruiting Langley to play defense though Georgia has told him he can play both ways. "Alabama and Tennessee are recruiting me to play on special teams too," he added.
As a junior, Langley totaled 60 tackles, six interceptions, two fumble recoveries and five pass deflections. He had eight touchdowns on offense, two on defense and three on special teams.
He did not name a leader.
