Pendleton DL Michael Hill was offered last week by Ohio State according to his coach Paul Sutherland. Hill also has offers from Clemson, USC, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
Hill visited Tennessee last weekend and will go to Georgia Tech Saturday. He's also been to USC and Clemson.
"He's wide open," Sutherland said. "He realizes he's going to have to narrow it down. He's trying to get to as many campuses as possible the summer."
Sutherland added the two in-state schools are making a great effort to impress Hill. "Clemson and USC both are very strong," he said. "I wouldn't put one over the other. Both are working as hard as they can and I look for both to be in it to the very end."
Hill had 81 tackles with 25 for loss and 6 sacks last season. "He's a plugger from the three shade tackle but has the ability to get off the line," Sutherland said. "He's big and strong and won't turn 17 until late May. "He will get bigger and stronger."
