LB Gerald Turner of Goose Creek was at Clemson over the weekend for a junior day and had a good time. "It went pretty good," Turner said. "I've pretty much seen everything up there because that was like my third or fourth time visiting."
He has offers from Clemson, USC and North Carolina and though he does not have any favorites, he did name these three as schools of strong interest.
He plans to visit Georgia soon with two of his teammates. WR and UGA commit Tramel Terry and LB Jalen Stevens will make the trip to Athens with Turner.
Turner will attend USC's spring game as he put it, "More than likely" and plans to camp at USC and Clemson this summer. "I'm going to USC's showcase camp," he said. "I go to that every year."
As for interest in other schools he said, "It depends on how they want to use me...hand-up or hand-down." He prefers to play in an Eric Norwood type of role. No leader for Turner.
