6-2 Southern Miss transfer LaShay Page will send his transcript to USC Wednesday morning and will take an official visit with the Gamecocks next week. And Page said Tuesday night a commitment to the Gamecocks couid be made on the visit.
"There's a strong possibility on a commitment," Page said. "South Carolina is definitely my frontrunner. If I like the coaching staff, I may commit to them."
Page has been in regular contact with USC and knows he's wanted by them. "South Carolina is very interested,' he said. "Obviously, they said they have a scholarship for me and they would love to have my presence since I have NCAA experience and I can contribute a lot to them next year."
Virginia Tech is the other school Page is hearing from a lot. "They are very interested in getting me down there and they want my transcript," said Page adding he might schedule a trip to Blacksburg if he doesn't nail things down with the Gamecocks.
Clemson also has been in contact with Page but he's not talked with them about taking a visit.
