DB Kendall Randolph of Tallahassee has a top five of USC, Miami, Florida State, Alabama and Georgia. He has set an unofficial visit to USC for June 21st.
"The visit I will take will be to find out more about the program and hang out with the coaches for a day," Randolph said. "South Carolina was my first official offer. They are just somebody I've kept in my mind and I've kept in touch with the coaches." Randolph added he's in regular contact with recruiter Kurt Botkin.
He also will visit Georgia, Alabama, Miami and possibly Stanford. He has no order to his favorites and hopes to make a decision by summer's end, but he won't rush it. And Randolph said he won't be afraid to go away from home for college. "If my best option is going out of state, then I don't have a problem going there because I'll always be presented with the time to come home and see my family."
Randolph is being recruited as a corner and had 40 tackles and 7 interceptions last season.
