Latta offensive lineman Donnell Stanley has started his summer trips.
Stanley finished up a three-day stay at Clemson on Friday. He went up to observe the Dabo Swinney camp and check out the campus. He traveled to the Upstate with two teammates, one of whom has a sister who attends and lives at Clemson. Stanley did not work out at the camp.
"He toured the campus and went to the Ag Department," said his uncle Chris German, who was not on the visit. "He really enjoyed it. He met with coach Swinney in his office and said he was impressed with that. He also met with (OL) coach Caldwell."
Stanley will visit North Carolina next Friday. He might attend a USC camp as well.

He is going to Alabama for a camp July 14th. Then he will visit Ole Miss July 15th and LSU a couple of days later. The week after that he's going to Florida and Florida State, and the following week he will visit Ohio State.
German said Stanley will shorten his list after his visits.
Stanley does not have a leader at this point and German said he will announce during the season or right after. He does not expect him to wait until Signing Day.
