DL Abu Lamin of Fort Scott, JC, KS makes his next official visit this weekend when he comes to USC. He was at Florida this past weekend and has also been to Auburn and Arkansas.
His weekend in Gainesville has the Gators at the top of his list. "I liked everything I saw," Lamin said. "They do everything NFL ready. I was with coach Muschamp and coach Lawing a lot. That was the first time a head coach was gone around the campus with me."
Right now Lamin has Florida one and USC two on his list. He'll be coming alone on his visit and will be looking at specific things. "I want to see the academics," he said. "It's big for me to be somewhere where I'm going to be taken care of academically. And I want to interact with the players and see how it will be with me when I'm there. And I want go get with coach Adams and see his scheme and see where he has me on his depth chart."
After the USC visit, Lamin plans to visit either Tennessee or Arizona State. Right now he's not sure when he'll decide. As for USC overtaking Florida, Lamin says that's possible. "Coach Adams has to show me he's going to put me in a scheme and help me make plays," Lamin said. "I definitely need to see that. And I want to get in there and see how it is with the players, just like a college kid, see how cool the players are and if they are on one page."
