DB Terry Godwin of Hogansville, GA has become a red hot target on the recruiting trail and has seen his number of offers mushroom. Godwin said right now he has offers from USC, Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Notre Dame, NC State, Arkansas, Georgia, Southern Cal and Vanderbilt.
Only Georgia assistant John Lilly has been by his school this year. Godwin has been to games at Georgia and Auburn and will go back to Georgia this weekend. He's planning to get to games at USC and Clemson as well. There is no favorites' list at this point.
Godwin said he's getting plenty of mail for USC and Clemson both expressing their interest in him and inviting him to come in for games. "I like both of them but I have to go out to the schools and look," Godwin said. Godwin talked on the phone with Vanderbilt Wednesday night and he's also had calls from North Carolina, Notre Dame, NC State and Ole Miss.
Godwin is being recruited for corner and receiver and said most like him primarily for corner. "I really want to play both," Godwin said.
He wants to make his decision before his senior season.
