OL Jake Fruhmorgen (6-5 280) of Tampa will be one of the most heavily recruited linemen in the country in the 2015 class. He's already received 26 offers with USC and Clemson in that group. In fact, Clemson was one of the first seven or eight offers to come in.
"He's not narrowed it down, he's still out there," said Fruhmorgen's father John, a former Alabama offensive lineman where his teammates included Dabo Swinney and Lorenzo Ward. "It's a little overwhelming. Everything is still wide open. He hasn't even been to an Alabama game and every thinks he's a lock there, but that's not the case."
Fruhmorgen has film study every Saturday and that's prevented him from getting out for games. He's only been to Florida this season. Next spring and summer father and son play to take a tour of the schools in the Southeast and USC and Clemson will be two stops.
Some of his other offers include Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Notre Dame, Louisville, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Cal.
Fruhmorgen has put on more than 50 pounds since last year and his father says he'll be a 300 pounder in college. His father described him as having a strong lower body and legs and quick feet.
