Junior DB Minkah Fitzpatrick of Jersey City, NJ has attended a camp at USC and plans to return this spring. Fitzpatrick has over 20 offers including USC. He remains in contact with some of the coaches and is showing interest in the Gamecocks.
"Coach Grady Brown and coach (G.A.) Mangus are still talking to me," Fitzpatrick said. "We're just building a relationship. They want me to come down this spring so I am trying to work it out."
His first trip to Columbia was a positive experience. "It's a great school," he said. "They have a need at my position and it's a great school for defensive backs."
His only visit this football season was to Ohio State where he saw the Buckeyes host Penn State. "I went with three of my teammates and it was a great visit," Fitzpatrick said. "The atmosphere was crazy."
