6-4 WR Kameron Uter of Atlanta was contacted via Facebook Sunday by USC receivers coach Steve Spurrier Jr. inquiring about any interest he might have in the Gamecocks since decommitting from Vanderbilt according to Michael Carvell of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Uter does have interest in USC and will wait and see who else contacts him through the week before deciding on his next move. He can't take a visit this coming weekend because he's got a workout for Major League Baseball scouts. He apparently has a 92 MPH fastball.
Uter told Carvell that Clemson is one of his "dream schools" and secondary coach Mike Reed checked in on him last month. Notre Dame, Boston College, Iowa, Northwestern, Wake Forest and Arkansas are some of the schools Uter has drawn interest from.
