The on-again, off-again relationship between Hilton Head Shrine Bowl defensive lineman Poona Ford and USC appears to be off again.
Both Rivals and 247Sports are reporting Ford has canceled his official visit to USC for this weekend.
Ford said on Monday after he and his grandmother met with Gamecock recruiters that he would visit this weekend, and he gave an indication that he might commit on the visit. And his coach told Ryan Bartow of 247Sports earlier this week that Ford would visit USC and Purdue this weekend and early next week and Missouri the following weekend. Ford visited Texas last weekend.
Ford had been committed to Louisville but after the coaching change there he backed off of that at the Shrine Bowl and said he would visit USC. But last week his coach called Gamecock recruiter Everette Sands and told him Ford was no longer interested.
That seemed to change on Monday, and it looks like it has changed again.
