Bethune-Bowman notes: The Mohawks opened the season under new coach Glenn Darby with a 65-0 with a 65-0 romp against Academic Magnet … Bethune-Bowman finished with more than 400 yards rushing in the game. Craig Jones produced 167 yards rushing and three touchdowns on just seven carries and set the rout in motion by returning the opening kickoff 82 yards for a score. Rondre Ritter and quarterback Danny Berry also ran for more than 100 yards … On defense, Ritter had 10 tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception, while Ashton Robinson had 12 tackles. Robinson scored two touchdowns – on a punt return, and an interception return.

Keenan notes: The Raiders return to action after taking Week 1 off in the wake of a season-opening road win over East Clarendon on Aug. 22 … Veterans Antonio Perry, Arthur Goforth and Marvin Poole all had productive openers. Perry completed 12 of 23 passes for 180 yards and also had two scoring runs. The versatile Goforth ran for 124 yards on 19 carries and caught two passes for 50 more. Poole had six receptions for 89 yards, one of which was good for a 31-yard scoring play.

Series history: The game, which was moved up a day to avoid any potential weather problems cause by Tropical Storm Hanna, will mark the first-ever meeting of the Raiders and Mohawks.
