Series history: This will be the first time the teams have met in the regular season. All six prior encounters were during the Class 4A playoffs. Overall, Summerville has a 4-2 lead in the series, but Irmo prevailed 21-13 in the Big 16 semifinals in the most recent meeting in 2002.
