Mid-Carolina notes: It’s gut-check time for the Rebels, who are off to a disappointing 2-3 start and fresh from a humbling 30-14 loss to Chapin … M-C went 4-1 in Region 3-2A last season to make the state-playoff cut for the first time in nine years, but the Rebs are in serious trouble after its once-proud defense surrendered 405 yards last week …Krishawn Holley provided the bulk of the highlights vs. Chapin with 82 yards rushing and one touchdown on 14 carries. Holley had just under 300 yards rushing to date.
