Site: WildCat Stadium. Time: 7:30 p.m.

Dutch Fork notes: The Silver Foxes (2-6, 1-3) fell back into an offensive rut in a 30-6 loss to Richland Northeast after scoring a 33-15 win over White Knoll in Week 7 … DF managed just 152 yards on the attack vs. RNE. The biggest item of note was the 1.9 yards average per rush … The Silver Foxes were within 7-6 at halftime after D.J. Monroe scored on a 6-yard run at 2:13 of the second quarter. But a 21-point burst by the Cavaliers in the third quarter was the knockout blow … Monroe had 56 yards rushing and was 3-for-3 passing for 58 yards.

Lexington notes: The Wildcats (6-2, 3-1) lost its hold on first place in Region 5-4A in a 27-15 loss to Irmo in the annual “Battle of the Dam”. Lexington did not score in the second half after the Yellow Jackets went ahead 20-15 in the final seconds of the first half … The yardage by both teams was almost identical, but the Wildcats failed to convert two red zone chances in the fourth quarter … Lexington rolled up 264 rushing yards vs. Irmo, but Anthony Carden was not the leader for once. Dexter Wells had 108 yards on 13 carries, quarterback Tradd Hunter has next with 82 yards on 11 attempts and “A Train” finished with 70 yards on 19 totes.

Series history: Lexington’s 13-7 win last year upped the Wildcats series lead to 5-3.
