Ben Lippen raced a 24-6 lead by the end of the first quarter and cruised to a 92-31 boys basketball win over visiting Robert E. Lee on Tuesday.
Andre Hennie had a big game for Ben Lippen with 24 points, six rebounds, two assists and four steals. Hennie converted 11 of 13 field goal attempts. Mitchell Deter, Chad Burnett and Taylor Wilson offered double-digit scoring support. Deter finished with 17 points, hitting three 3-pointers, and grabbed five rebounds. Burnett and Wilson scored 11 points apiece. Wilson went 2-for-2 from 3-point range. Mick Shoemaker led the team with seven rebounds.
The Falcons shot 58% from the field (38-for-69).
Ben Lippen (2-2) returns to action Friday at home against Florence Christian.
