Damien Johnson and Alaundrias Riley led Swansea to a 79-39 boys basketball win over Wagener-Salley on Thursday night. The Tigers, now 4-1, travel to face Hunter-Kinard-Tyler tonight. Swansea was a 59-47 winner vs. H-K-T on Dec. 5.
Johnson went 10-for-16 from the floor, including one 3-pointer, en route to a season-high 21 points, while Riley had a double-double (18 points, 10 rebounds). The duo shot a combined 19-for-26 from the field. Riley failed to convert just one of his 10 pops from the floor. Johnson leads the team in scoring (13.6 ppg) and rebounding (7.3 rpg).
Josh Niles also had a good game for the Tigers – scoring 13 points on 6-for-9 shooting with two assists.
