Lexington senior running back Anthony Carden was named the South offensive MVP in Saturday’s annual North-South All-Star football game in Myrtle Beach.
Carden, who piled up for 1,703 rushing yards and scored 21 touchdowns is his final season with the Wildcats, led the South to a 24-14 win with 106-yard performance on 17 carries. His 29-yard scoring run in the third quarter provided the decisive South points.
