Chapin, ranked sixth in 3A, finished in third place behind defending Class 1A state champion Chesterfield and third-ranked (3A) Bluffton with 173.50 points.
Nate Polly and Emerson Shaw joined Hope in the championship finals, but had to settle for silver medals.
