Lexington expanded its Region 5-4A boys basketball lead to two full games as the conference season nears the midway point, downing second-place North Augusta 61-54 on Friday night at home.

The Wildcats (15-2, 6-0) received 16 points from Justin Mills and 13 from freshman Shaq Roland. The Yellow Jackets fell back to 4-2 in the region standings, but still have sole possession of second place.
