Darlington dealt Camden its first boys basketball loss of the season on Friday night. The visiting Falcons pulled out an 83-75 overtime decision on the Bulldogs floor, outscoring the hosts 21-13 in the wild four-minute extra session.
It was Darlington’s first Region 6-3A win of the season.
Brad Knox led a parade of five Darlington double-digit scorers with 21 points. Evrik Gary and Jay Council tallied 22 points apiece for Camden, but it was not enough to keep the Bulldogs from their first mishap of the season.
Camden is now 14-1 overall, 2-1 in Region 6-3A matters. Darlington improved to 9-4. 1-2.

The high-flying Darlington girls (15-1, 3-0) crushed the Bulldogs 69-32 in the opener. Antoinette McPhail rang up 18 for the Falcons. Amber Tate scored 13 to pace slumping Camden (7-7, 0-3). The Bulldogs have lost six in a row since opening the season with seven wins in its first eight outings.
