Lee Central suffered its first region loss in history on Saturday at Eau Claire. Now, the Stallions are dealing with its first-ever region losing streak, courtesy of the Columbia Capitals.
The Caps (4-12, 2-3) knocked off the host Stallions 53-46 on Tuesday in the Region 4-2A second-half opener. Jasmine Harris led the way for Columbia with 20 points. Lee Central is now 0-2 after winning their first 60 region games during over nine varsity seasons.
In the nightcap, Columbia (2-15, 1-4) scored its first region win, downing the Stallions 47-41 as Kenneth Johnson scored 16 points. Sterling Rose and Justin Metze chipped in 12 and 10 points, respectively.
