Wilson Hall’s boys and girls track and field teams both finished in the Top 10 at the Father Kelly Classic at Bishop England on Saturday.
The Barons boys rang up 38.5 points, good for eighth place, while the girls finished ninth with 29.5 points.
The individual star was senior distance ace Trey Parker, who earned a silver medal for a second-place finish in the 1600 meters (4:28.19) and a bronze for a third-place effort in the 3200 (10:09.79).
Parker’s scoring support came from Chris Sharp (4th, high jump), Josh Jennings (4th, 800; 8th, 1600), Ricky Crum (5th, 110 hurdles; 8th 400 hurdles) and Cotton Carruth (6th, shot put).

Scoring depth was the key for the Wilson Hall girls. Mollie Kinney was the lone Barsons female medallist – finishing third in the 400 hurdles, The rest of the individual points came from AnnDavis Shaw (5th, 800), Ansley Ard (6th, 200; 7th, 100) AnnaCrew Kinney (6th, 100 hurdles; 8th 400 hurdles) and Cori Stroebel (7th, high jump).
All three WH girls relay teams scored.
