At Edens Stadium, David Nidiffer set a school record with six touchdown passes to lead the top-ranked Skyhawks (4-0).

Nidiffer completed 22 of 28 passes for 328 yards. Aaron Walters was his top target with six catches for 111 yards an two touchdowns. Ron Millhouse caught four passes for 75 yards and a touchdown.
