There was a lot to like for the A.C. Flora swim team on Sunday at the Blue Devil Invitational meet at the USC Natatorium. The two ACF teams combined for 176 points at the event hosted by Dreher, good for an overall fifth-place finish.
But the real story were top performances by Hannah Robins, Garrett Ocker, Janson Busby and Andy Campbell.
Robins, a seventh-grader, had four Top 10 performances, and a haul of one gold medal and two bronze prizes. The Falcons rookie was the winner in the 100 individual medley, finished third in the 100 free and saw duty on two relay teams, including the third-place medley relay foursome.
Ocker and Busby had remarkable similar outings. Each emerged with one gold, one silver and one bronze medal in the three events they entered. Ocker and Busby hooked up with Campbell and Jay Sturm for a winning 200 free relay performance.
