Lexington’s boys and girls swim teams completed perfect run through the regular season with an easy sweep against Spring Valley on Tuesday at Woodlands Country Club.
The Wildcats boys defeated the Vikings 112.5-57.5, while the girls breezed by a 130-40 margin.
Individually, the starts of the meet were Lexington’s Jeffrey Mead and Michelle Whitfield and Spring Valley’s Jonathon Boland.
Mead and Whitfield were the four-evbent winners. Mead swept the freestyle sprints – the 50 and 100 meters – and added two legs on winning relay teams. Whitfield also swept the 50 and 100 free events and drew duty on two winning relay teams.

Vincent King, Monica Garvin and Dora Wells all had three winning efforts for Lexington. King won the 100 free and was on the two Wildcat boys winning relay teams. Garvin turned in individual wins in the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke, and handled a led on the winning medley relay team. Wells was part of Lexington’s three relay wins in the girls division.
Lexington’s Laura Price prevailed in the 200 and 400 free races.
James Zimmerman (100 backstroke), Colt Kirkpatrick (100 breaststroke) and Lauren Lux (breaststroke) accounted for the rest of Lexington’s solo event wins.
