Keenan blitzed Blythewood 55-39 in the first game of the Chick-fil-A Classic on Monday at Blythewood.
Quinton Johnson led the way for the 6-1 Raiders, posting the tournament’s first double-double. Johnson scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in his 24 minutes of work. He also contributed three blocks, two assists and two steals to the cause. Guard Eric Washington was the only other Raider to score in double figures, tallying 11 points in a fine all around performance that also included six rebounds, six assists and three steals.
Blythewood took a 4-0 lead but Keenan gained command with a 15-0 run. The move featured two 3-pointers by Eric Hopkins, who finished with eight points.
Julius Davis topped Blythewood with 12 points. The Bengals turned the ball over 24 times and managed just 35 shot from the field.
