Christian Brown, Juwan Gary make ESPN list for Class of 2019 prospects

A.C. Flora’s Christian Brown and Gray Collegiate’s Juwan Gary made the list of the ESPN 60 for Class of 2019 basketball players, released this week.

Brown is No. 14 on the list, while Gary is No. 26. Both are listed as five-star recruits.

The 6-foot-7 Brown averaged 16.3 points and 7.1 rebounds a game last season. He attended the NBPA Top 100 camp earlier this month in Virginia.

Brown has several Division I offers including South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn, Kansas, Florida State, Florida, Tennessee and wake Forest among others.

Gary, 6-5, averaged 18.4 points and 6.5 rebounds a game for the War Eagles. He was invited to the Team USA 16U tryouts earlier this summer.

Gary has offers from Clemson, East Carolina and UNLV among others.

Two other players from the Palmetto State made the list – York Prep’s DJ Burns and Porter-Gaud’s Josiah James. Burns has an offer from the Gamecocks.
