Blake Harris has decided where he is going to play college football.
The Ben Lippen offensive lineman committed to Army on Thursday. He got an offer from Army on May 30 and visited there last month. Harris also had offers from The Citadel, Presbyterian and South Carolina State.
“The campus is the most beautiful campus that I've visited by far, and I've visited a lot of schools since my recruitment started. All of the unique and historical stuff that the campus presents are just mind blowing,” Harris said. “The football facilities are top notch as well. Everything about the place is just perfect in my eyes. Receiving a top notch education and playing football at the highest level. It’s the best of both worlds.”
Harris will major in engineering and the fact Army has a top-notch department was a big factor in his decision.
Harris, a two-star recruit, is ranked No. 42 in South Carolina by 247Sports for the Class of 2018. The 6-foot-2, 272-pounder played at Dutch Fork the past three years.
