'Temptation Island' Season 2 Status Check: Where the Couples Stand Now

Turns out, the Temptation Island season 2 couples were indeed tempted by the singletons in the villa.

On Temptation Island, a handful of couples agree to live in separate villas with bombshells known as "tempters" and "temptresses," whose goals are to break up established pairs and find love. At the end of season 2, only Kaylee Needham and Summit Wallace stayed together as the remaining three couples broke up or found a connection with one of the singles.

Sydney left Temptation Island hand-in-hand with bombshell Xzavier Odom, only to reunite with Mikey once production wrapped.

"So, me and Sydney got back together four days after the show," Mikey said during the reunion. "Everything was going so good and it was going phenomenal, but the thing about it was [that] I was holding on to what I experienced on that island, and that was not fair to her whatsoever, like, any inkling of us having an argument, I'm throwing that jab at her. I saw her as a woman [and] it was tearing her down. I could see her heart was hurt because I'm throwing that at her, and that was not fair."

Sydney and Mikey's rekindled relationship only lasted three months.

"Originally when we got back, he was, like, ‘Forget about the show [and] what you did,' and everything like that," Sydney said, claiming that Mikey said the bonfire footage of his antics were taken out of context and edited for the dating show. "I felt guilt in myself and I was, like, ‘I don't want to do that to him.' He was my best friend."

Sydney further revealed that she and Mikey have "not talked" in the months since they broke up again, and that she is now "back in communication" with Xzavier.

"I did reach out to him and I was, like, ‘Hey, I know I'm probably the last person you want to talk to, but would you be open to a conversation and grabbing coffee?'" Sydney said. "He was, like,

‘Yes, of course,' and we went; we got coffee. We talked about everything."

Sydney, who forged a real connection with Xzavier in the villa, stated that she is now single and "focusing on myself."

Temptation Island is now streaming on Netflix.
