Mia Alario Claims West and Amanda Were Hanging Out Last September

Southern Hospitality's Mia Alario is adding to the ongoing intrigue surrounding the newfound romance between Summer House stars West Wilson and Amanda Batula.

During a Wednesday, April 22, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Mia, 28, said she went on a date with West, 31, last September, but he had been hanging out with Amanda, 34, beforehand.

"I was cast in that dragnet that he threw across New York City," Mia said of her brief courtship with West.

She then added, "Looking back at it, it was still a fun time. I will say it was a fun time. Did I know his morale? No."

According to Mia, before their date, West was drinking with Amanda in his apartment. In January, Amanda announced her separation from husband Kyle Cooke after four years of marriage.

"I met Amanda at BravoCon and she actually told me that they pregamed our date at his apartment," Mia claimed. "At the time, I was like, ‘Oh, you're such a good friend. That sounds like such a good time.'"

Mia continued, "She was like, ‘Oh, I gave him some advice and some tips.' I was like, girl, did we get the same tip or what? Damn. Now looking back at it, it's a messy situation and I don't want any part of that at all."

West and Amanda went public with their burgeoning relationship in March, blindsiding Bravo fans and their fellow Summer House costars. Since breaking the news, there has been much speculation about the timeline of their relationship, particularly when they began dating.

During a Monday, April 20, appearance on the "Show Me Something" podcast, West denied that he and Amanda were in relationships when things turned romantic between them. (West previously dated costar Ciara Miller, one of Amanda's friends.)

"There was no overlap," he said, adding that he and Amanda "realized things were maybe a little bit serious" in February.

He said, "I know there's a thousand different theories on the internet right now, but that is one thing that for sure did not happen. Everyone was single."

In their March statement, Amanda and West said that their relationship was "still very new."

"It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. … We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected, they wrote via Instagram at the time. "Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
