Lex. vehicle-tax receipts, license tag renewals arriving together

Lexington County residents will receive vehicle-tax receipts together with license plate renewals starting today. The move ends separate mailings from state and county offices, a change that county treasurer Jim Eckstrom said saves about $46,000 yearly. It’s part of a series of steps he said he is taking to improve efficiency.
