A sweet debut: Nothing Bundt Cakes opens a Lexington location. Here’s where
Lexington just got a little sweeter.
Nothing Bundt Cakes, the bakery franchise that has more than 430 locations across North America, has a new location at 5336-E Sunset Blvd. in Lexington. That’s in a busy shopping center area that includes Hobby Lobby, Ulta Beauty and a host of other shops. The Nothing Bundt Cakes location opened earlier this week.
The Nothing Bundt Cakes shops are known, naturally, for their wide selection of bundt cakes, which come in various sizes and with a wide array of flavors, including red velvet, lemon, strawberries and cream, carrot, vanilla and others.
The Lexington shop is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday, according to a sign in the window.
Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded in Las Vegas in 1997, according to its website.
“We celebrate the very heart of true hospitality where all are welcome, and no one is a stranger,” the Nothing Bundt Cakes website says. “Each thoughtful detail of the experience, from the heartfelt welcome at the door to remembering a guest’s favorite flavor, has been naturally embraced at Nothing Bundt Cakes.”
The new Lexington location is along a busy commercial corridor. More than 38,000 cars per day travel down Sunset Boulevard in that area, according to state Department of Transportation data.
